This is the privacy statement of Next Level Academy B.V. (hereinafter NLA), owner/organizer of the Credit Expo Netherlands and also owner/operator of the website creditexpo.nl. NLA is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement.

NLA endorses the importance of the privacy of (personal) data and treats the related process with great care. In this privacy statement we explain how we handle these data.

NLA confirms itself to the principles regarding personal data described in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU2016/679), hereafter referred to as GDPR.

Personal data processed by NLA

NLA processes personal data due to the fact that you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself for the purpose of sending newsletters and/or offers. Below is an overview of the (personal) data that we may process.

  • Company name
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Gender
  • Job title
  • Department
  • Address information
  • Email address
  • Telephone numbers
  • Domain name
  • Company size
  • Industry
  • Data about your participation in meetings organized by us, including fairs, conferences, courses and trainings.
  • Other personal data that you provide yourself, for example by registering via social media, through written correspondence or via telephone communication.
  • If there is a transaction: your bank account number.
  • Location/device data including IP address, location, cookies etc.

No processing of special and/or sensitive personal data

NLA does not process special and/or sensitive personal data when it comes to origin or religion.

Purposes and bases relating to the processing of personal data
NLA only processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate (marketing) interest. Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • To contact you by phone or email when necessary to properly perform our services.
  • To send by email our newsletters, information and/or offers from NLA. You can always unsubscribe from these via an unsubscribe link in the sent email.
  • Sending information from partners of NLA by email (partner mails). You can always unsubscribe via an unsubscribe link in the sent mail.
  • Handling registrations, sales orders and related payments.
  • Informing you about changes in our services and products.
  • Obtaining insight into the number and profiles of visitors at meetings organized by NLA. This data is shared with the partners/exhibitors for statistical purposes as far as the visitors to the fairs and congresses (for the relevant target group) are concerned free of charge.
  • NLA also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for tax returns.

Automated decision-making

Based on automated processing, NLA does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a person (e.g. an employee of NLA) being involved. NLA uses the following computer systems:

  • CRM system for managing registrations of participants in our training courses (trainees) and participants in our exhibitions and conferences (partners/exhibitors), sending quotations and invoices and registering payments.
  • Visitor registration system for registering data of visitors to our, for the respective target group, free accessible fairs and congresses.
  • Email marketing software for sending newsletters and offers to participants and visitors of NLA’s meetings.
  • Software for conducting surveys that collect findings, opinions and suggestions for improvement from participants and visitors regarding the meetings organized by NLA.

Retention period of personal data

NLA does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

NLA only provides personal data to third parties for the execution of agreements and/or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a separate processing agreement with companies that process personal data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. NLA remains responsible for these processing operations.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we might use

NLA uses Google Analytics. This is an analytical cookie that measures website visits. The retention period for this is 2 years. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via the settings of your browser.

View, adjust or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or have your personal data deleted at any time. If you wish, you can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

Would you like to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability? Please send a specified request to info@creditexpo.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. NLA will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

NLA takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. The basic principle of this privacy statement is that it is intended for the long term. It is possible that aspects will be changed which will then be published on this page.
